Canadian Theatre to Bring Large-Scale Festival Off-Broadway - Toronto’s Soulpepper Theatre Company will make its U.S. debut with a festival of new plays & musicals next summer — it is expected to be the largest assemblage of Canadian artists in America during its sesquicentennial celebration. The festival, titled Soulpepper on 42nd Street: Canada Crosses the Border, is scheduled to play June 29, 2017, at the Pershing Square Signature Center, and has a total budget of $3 million.
