A Group Of Five Tudor Period Buckles. A group of five tudor period buckles.These items which date to circa 16th century AD, were found in excavations on the thames foreshore london in1974.They include buckles made of bronze and of lead ,some which are decorated whilst others of plain form . One item still retains some of its original gilding and is of wonderful style and form.
