Ahoy matey, shiver me timbers, this is one fun pirate word search and that's no hornswaggle. Learn the lingo and have a good time on Puzzles to Print.

Well, there's the grid. All you have to do is arrange the numbers 1 through to 8 in the grid shown. The rules? No consecutive numbers should be next to each other, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Sounds simple? Have a go! You will realize fairly soon why I call it challenging maths puzzle.

Every so often, a puzzle comes along with a solution that is so patently, painfully, groaningly obvious, you can't help but overlook it. This is one of those puzzles. I am genuinely ashamed of how long it took me to solve this puzzle, the first time I encountered it.
