Our absolute hands-down favorite place that we vacationed at is Prince Edward Island. In North America, 80% of cultured mussels are produced in Prince Edward Island in Canada. Japanese tourists could not get enough of them, nor could we since they served them in literal buckets. It is no wonder that we (along with the Japanese) were enthralled with the island and its "peculiar red roads" as its famous resident Lucy Maude Montgomery (author of "Anne of Green Gables") described them.
