Théière à l’œuf et au serpent.  Cette théière faisait partie d’un service à décor naturaliste: un pot à crème à tête de vache, un pot à sucre en forme d’ananas, une tasse à tisane en forme de fleur et une tasse à chocolat avec le même motif que la théière. Ici le serpent évoque l’Asie d’où provient le thé. Créée à la Manufacture de Sèvres en 1805, cette théière a été fabriquée jusqu’en 1833 en très petites quantités ; cet exemplaire fut acheté par le duc d’Orléans, fils du roi…
