I love cake. Do you have a treat or dessert that is just your favorite? My husband's is ice cream, I have a really good friend Milli who also would choose ice cream over anything else, me on the other hand I want cake. That being said it has to be good cake, and with a new cupcake shop popping up on every corner there are quite a few sub-par cupcakes being sold for exorbitant prices. You know the type, you are super excited and after paying $3.50 for not even a super large size cupcake you take a bite and crumbs start to make your mouth sticky because the cake is so dry. I hate that kind of cupcake, its the worst kind because you had your heart set on this beautiful treat and disappointment is all you get in return, well and a few hundred calories down the hatch for nothing. Well today what I have for you is well worth every little calorie they may be. Cake pops people! I first had a Naughty Bites cake pop at home after I purchased it from hy-vee, our local grocery store. I had read in a couple different local newspapers that they were good and that they were selling in hy-vee as well as their little shop up here in the northland. I tell you I was hooked after that first one. As Matt and I hoovered them we barely had enough breaths between bites to say "these are really good." and that's coming from a true cupcake snob. :) The cute little storefront is off of 64th St. in the stops at burlington creek, so if you are in Kansas City and your sweet tooth needs to be obliged, stop by Naughty Bites you won't be sorry.
