Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! This is one of our all-time faves. We read it every night for months & it worked like a charm. Just try reading "A yawn is quite catching, you see, like a cough. It just takes one yawn to start other yawns off" and see if you can stop yourself from yawning!

When your child finishes kindergarten have their teacher sign a page in this book telling a story about your son or daughter. Every year after that until they graduate from high school or college have each of their teachers/coaches/family sign a page talking about your child. It might take years and years to make, but it will be an amazing graduation gift to them some day. :)

This Earth friendly book is most often seen around the celebration of Earth day. Its story line is based on the Lorax trying to save his area of trees and grassland. He tries to get others to understand the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling. I would read this book to grades three through six. I think it contains a lesson for everyone about going green!
