Invictus Poem - this was one of Mandela's favorite poems which he often recited while in prison on Robben Island. He said that the poem gave him strength to survive in the face of adversity. When I asked my former colleague Murvell how he was dealing with some serious helath issues, he proceeded to recite this poem word for word to me.
And a girl needs to be there to support her man. She's got to be his comfort and his biggest cheerleader, his confidence boost when he's at his lowest-she has to talk good about him and always be there-be someone worthy to be protected by him.
This is a quote everyone needs to live by. YOU are only as happy or sad or moody or cranky as YOU decide to be. So stop for one second and think about it.. make that decision before you walk out your door every morning. BE HAPPY. You'll be surprised how much better your day can be.
