Seward, Alaska. Located on the North East coast of the Kenai Peninsula, and not far from Anchorage, Seward is a fairly small town, home to a large fishing fleet (great coho, chinook and halibut sport fishing and commercial fishing) and tourism. It has a quaint waterfront with shops, restaurants (one of the best clam chowder and halibut fish and chips I've ever had), charter fishing offices, and souvenir stores. Seward is major stop for cruise ships on their way to view the glaciers.

Located on the North East coast of the Kenai Peninsula and not far from Anchorage. Our hotel overlooked this harbor.

MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!! Seward, Alaska Miss my Uncle Jon and Aunt Barb dearly (They live in Eagle River Alaska which is right outside of Anchorage but they always took me camping in his motorhome with them when I'd visit and Seward would be my favorite camping place!

DONE: Flattop is the most-hiked mountain in Alaska and easily accessible from the Glen Alps trailhead.

Flattop Mountain is the most-climbed peak in Alaska, and it's just minutes from downtown Anchorage. There is a lower level berry-picking route if climbing to the top of the mountain is not an option.
