The baby's Breath was 4.99 for 1 bunch at Safeway and had 10 stems in a bunch.  I used 4 bunches on 1, so $20 and then the vases were 9.99 at ACmoore but I used 50% off coupons over a few weeks so they were only $4.99.  Total cost $25.  I used real flowers and would say you could make these 2 to 3 days in advance.  I made them all the night before and would not suggest it, because it did actually take longer than expected.
