Coin - tetradrachm from ancient Athens Greece. Early style Athenian owl (449-413 BC). Reverse: Owl standing right, olive spray and crescent behind, AOE signifying Athens in front. Obverse: Early archaic style head of Athena. Coin is mounted in a heavy 14k gold bezel with fixed bale, and with bezel, is about the size of a quarter.
