I immediately fell in love with the spaghetti western genre after A Fistful of Dollars. The Dollars trilogy of films just got progressively better, each one developing Sergio Leone's style. All of it came to a head in his next western: Once Upon a Time in the West. While not the most original of stories, the meticulous framing and pacing of each shot helps elevate the movie to something more than just an average shoot-em up western.
