Regarding our original concept of good vs evil clowns, we still wanted to blend some sort of comedy into the piece, whether it was slapstick or just plain black dark humour. I feel that it was summed up best by this image of Heath Ledger's Joker in a female nurse's outfit, as it mixes the best of both. His dark maniacal nature, and the staple of a clown in an outfit that comically contrasts his true nature (e.g. when a clown goes to bed at night as a regular person again).
LISTEN, THIS IS THE TRUTH: "Though our feelings come and go, God's love for us does not," C.S. Lewis. LET GOD'S WORD - NOT YOUR FEELINGS - LEAD YOU: "Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom (God's Word) will be delivered," Proverbs 28:26.
i think what this means for me is that when we break, we often sit on the floor and examine the pieces. some people will look at the pieces and give up and others will look at the pieces and find a way to make them fit.
This is so true of some of the finest people dealt with in LE. Some know they are full of it & try repeatedly. Still others are insulted when you point out the truth & the little light bulb goes off making them realize they were finally called out on it. Only in LE can you get a BS complaint when you tell someone the truth & the fact becomes evident they aren't going to get their way & have to deal with the consequence of their own decision & actions!
