Master playing the piano. I mostly get so nervous, and my hands get all sweaty. It's a coordination and confidence issue.

Writing stimulus - what's through the key hole? Make a link with stories, fantasy settings etc. Nice photo for a piece of extended writing, possibly even based on 'The Secret Garden' as I used as a stimulus last year with Year 1.

The way this image portrays negative and positive spacing is done really well. We see the image first as spaces of negative and positive and then realize we are looking at the human figure.

These images by Art student Rosanna Jones show a figure lying in a lukewarm bath of powdered milk. This results in beautiful, semi-translucent, ghostly images, with dramatic focal areas and a high-key effect (see above).

Veronica Lake 1940, photo by George Hurrell. (PIC 4) I love this image as the highlights and shadows are drastic, which gives a strong and dominant feel to the photo.
