Book bunting! I made mine by photocopying the cover x2 and sticking them back to back, sandwiching ribbon between the two, before leaving a save and sticking on the next one. Very effective in the cloakroom area and a conversation starter between children and adults alike.

Book cover banner - great use for all of those hardcover dust jackets. This would be the ideal reason to sort book covers by color, make it seasonal.

Mildred Hubble. Pre Potter magical mischief in a school for young witches.

THE WORST WITCH - Mildred Hubble was a trainee witch at Mss Cackle's Academy, and she was making an awful mess of it. She couldn't even ride a broomstick without crashing it and she was always getting her spells wrong.

A Finger Painted picture of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.. great to do after the child reads the book by themselves for the first time . Just add name of the child , date and their age and it would make a great memory keeper even write or draw ideas on the back of what you would eat!

Going to need lots of ideas like this for preschool! read The very Hungry Caterpillar, hand-print caterpillar, then eat caterpillar cupcakes:)
