From the picture-taker: "I took this picture at Old Newgate Prison in Connecticut. I noticed nothing abnormal when I took the picture, but when I got it onto my computer I saw the girl in the third window on the second floor. This is the original guard building from the prison, and as far as I am aware no one is allowed on the top floor. My Uncle who was with me that day also sees someone behind the girl..." There appears to be a figure above her left shoulder.
John "Johnny Appleseed" Chapman - Folk Hero and Patriot. He was born John Chapman in Leominster, Massachusetts to a father who was a Minuteman at Concord and later served in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. It is not known exactly when he left New England and started his westward journey. He did not randomly scatter seeds but was a practical nurseryman.
