Blue Ling Cod. I caught one about this size right under the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. It's flesh is as blue/green as the colors shown in the picture when filleted, but turns white when cooked. Excellent fish to eat!
White Seabass - One of the larger members of the family of drums and croakers, which includes the spotted seatrout and weakfish of the Atlantic Coast. The white seabass is one of the most coveted saltwater prizes among anglers from northern Baja to central California. It frequents nearshore sandy areas, particularly around kelp beds, feeding on a variety of small baitfish as well as squid and crustaceans. Anglers catch them on a variety of lures and baits, with live squid topping the list.
