This isn’t something that I need to make but I love the use of these hula-hoops as an interactive Venn diagram. I just wanted to add this to remind me to purchase some cheap hula-hoops sometime! It's a great way to teach students how to sort.
First day class rules: I actually have this taped to the inside of my classroom door. After my students see these (and chuckle a little), my rules don't seem so bad.---like this idea :) start the year off with some tongue n cheek humor :)
During read-aloud, have student select a button from a jar & then ask a question that corresponds to the color button chosen. Questions can be answered individually, in buddies, or in journal. Button cards correspond to Bloom's taxonomy
Just added to my next book order: What if Everybody Did That? This one should come standard with every primary classroom. The book goes through a day with a little one who does things without thinking.
