By Tim Holtz. Ink inside top of embossing folder with Distress embossing ink (or VersaMark). Dry emboss kraft-core cardstock panel. Immediately apply white embossing powder. Rub powder off all raised designs. Randomly rub some off near top and bottom edges and in random spots all over. Heat emboss. Cool. Sand to expose kraft core around raised designs. Ink with Distress ink. (iced spruce used here). Distress edges of panel.

use kraft-core yardstick; cover embossing plate with embossing ink before dry embossing; cover embossed paper with white embossing powder; rub off raised shapes and around edges if preferred; sand over shapes to reveal kraft core
