Using whatever produce, frozen greens and superfoods I have left in my empty kitchen, I mixed up this smoothie. My expectations were low, but avocado came through once again with this tasty, simple smoothie.
Salsa Verde Recipe salsa verde: 1 1/2 pounds tomatillos, husks removed 1/2 medium yellow onion, peeled, cut into wedges 3 cloves garlic, peeled 1 or 2 serrano chiles, cut in half, stems removed (depending on how hot you want it) 1 cup cilantro, leaves and stems Salt to taste
Dr. Oz's Green Drink: Ingredients: Makes 3-4 servings (about 28-30 oz), 2 cups spinach, 1/2 cucumber, 1/4 head of celery, 1/2 bunch parsley, 1 bunch mint 3 carrots, 2 apples, 1/4 orange, 1/4 lime, 1/4 lemon, 1/4 pineapple, Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender. Serve and enjoy!
