I have a special, childhood memory attached to this cookie. My aunt made these every year for all of the grandchildren. This started in the 1950's and she made these cookies with a special cookie cutter called Aunt Chicks. When I married, my aunt bought me an Aunt Chick's cookie cutter and I began the tradition with my kids and now over 50 years later for my grandchildren!   They are a labor of love. I have found the orignial 1950's cutters on EBAY but you can purchase them new here. A
