This is one of my *favorite* ceramic projects . . . SHOES!  I ask each of my 8th graders to bring in a shoe or boot to use as inspiration for their clay project.

clay tiki mask. I did this in class with my 7th & 8th graders. I had them make it into a lidded box form.

Really interesting piece of art as the pots are shaped strangely and I think the texture is really interesting.
