One thing I liked about the 3 year old Mercedes car I bought was that the ornament that stood up on the hood could not break off because the bottom was a ball that just moved around. I cried when I sold my beloved 16 year old Mercedes.

Morris Car Badge - Morris Cowley Flatnose 1927/30. 2¼” Diameter. This badge is ‘Tail Up’ and is fixed to the radiator grille by a single stud. No maker’s mark. The 1930 onwards cars had a different shaped badge with wings. This one differs in appearance from the Bullnose Cowley badge by a horizontal red line separating the words Morris and the Cowley.
