Ice Crushers: I recently merged my two collection sits in to one. Here we have the two 1878 Patent Wharton Corp, Philadelphia PA, together for the first time in maybe 100 Years. The smaller one is the only one we know of and the bigger one there maybe 2 others ones out there. I think there pretty cool together. Look on this board for more info about these machines.
Philadelphia's Magic Gardens: The Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens is a gallery space and a folk art environment that operates as a nonprofit organization. It is considered to be the biggest work of the mosaic artist, Isaiah Zagar. The Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens consists of 3 city lots and features a huge outdoor labyrinth and indoor galleries. The beautifully crafted mosaics are made up of China and Latin American plates, bike wheels and kitchen tiles.
You don't have to be a Philadelphia native to experience the bittersweet emotions that accompany the end of a delicious cheesesteak (sheer satisfaction from having eaten something so gooey, juicy, and perfect, contrasted against the melancholy upon realizing that there's none left).
