19th century pink topaz and diamond collet necklace, c.1880, to the front three oval facetted pink topaz with diamond set trefoil clusters in between, a pear shaped topaz hung to the centre, each topaz with rose cut diamond highlights spaced around, on a graduated cut-down collet diamond necklace, open set in silver and gold.
Dress, Mascotte, 1912, London. In V&A: CIRC.643-1964 Owned by Miss Heather Firbank Silk chiffon over silk, grosgrain, lace, boned, embroidered. This dress shows the new slim line and tubular skirt of the 1910s. Its almost austere appearance is made more feminine with the addition of a double line of self fabric decorative buttons down the front and at the cuffs and a purple cord sash which ties around the waist and falls at one side.
LEVINGER & BISSINGER A gilded silver, plique-a-jour pendant. The central mother-of pearl, flanked with graduated blue plique-a-jour cells set with seed pearls and with a pearl drop. German. C.1900.
