8 Day Old - Pygmy Hippopotamus (Hexaprotodon Liberiensis) The hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius), or hippo.  Despite their physical resemblance to pigs and other terrestrial even-toed ungulates, their closest living relatives are cetaceans (whales, porpoises, etc.) from which they diverged about 55 million years ago.

Hippos are my favorite animal. People say they are angry animals. I think people just need to stay out of their space.
