James Lapine will direct Broadway revival of Tony-winning FALSETTOS musical in spring 2016.

THE BLOODY IRISH a new musical about the 1916 Easter Rising, is Broadway-bound. The show will reportedly open at the Neil Simon Theatre in April before launching a North American tour. An official announcement has not yet been made.  Written by Barry Devlin, directed for the stage by Michael Barker-Caven, music composed and arranged by David Downes, this 80 minute musical drama played at the Dublin City University's Helix Theatre last year and was broadcast in the US in October 2015 on PBS.

THE KING OF SECOND AVENUE, currently in its world premiere at the New Repertory Theatre in Watertown, Mass., is a new Klezmer musical by Tony Award-winner Robert Brustein (founder of both the Yale Repertory Theatre and American Repertory Theater) and composer Hankus Netsky (chair of the New England Conservatory's Contemporary Improvisation Department and founder and director of the Klezmer Conservatory Band).
