Week 20-Homemade Pop-Tarts- They taste like little pies! I made a cherry-cranberry filling and they turned out great. However, these are a LOT of work since the dough is delicate at 1/8 inch thick. Next time, I'd make circular shapes and fold over for hand pies. I think Apple filling would be great also.

1 egg  1 heaping tbsp of almond butter  1 tsp honey  1 tsp vanilla essence  1/4 cup almond meal  2 tsp cacao powder  a pinch of salt  1 tsp baking soda  a pinch of cinnamon powder

Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs Allrecipes.com. Dredged in flour, browned, seasoned with salt/pepper before putting in the crockpot on low for 10 hrs.  Made sauce of 1T garlic, 1/2c soya, 1/4c brown sugar, 1/3c water, 1/2t ginger, & 1/4c honey.  Brushed on ribs and cooked in oven until brown.  Yum!
