Apollo and Daphne is a life-sized Baroque marble sculpture by Italian artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini executed Housed in the Galleria Borghese in Rome.

This sculpture is from the late 13th century and is known as the Alter Angels. Art from the Gothic Period is known for being religeous in nature and included angels. This sculpture is from France, and originally included wings which have since been lost. The angel is made of Oak with traces of polychromy.
