Oskar Schlemmer’s “Das Triadische Ballet,” Stuttgart, Germany 1922. Based on spirals and circles, this costume is mesmerising. It features a hat shaped like an upside-down bowl with a spiral on it, a full body costume shaped to curve out from the body. It is black and white in this particular photograph, adding to the effectiveness of the piece.
