Wendy Barrie was born in 1912 in Hong Kong. She initially made her career in British films including 1933′s “The Private Lives of Henry the 8th”. In 1935 she went to Hollywood amd her first movie there was with Spencer Tracy “It’s a Small World”. Her most popular films were the Basil Rathbone version of “The Hound of the Baskervilles” and “Five Came Back” with Lucille Ball. Her final film was in 1943.
