Tall ships in Charlestown Harbour in Cornwall, England- I love this little harbour if you're ever in Cornwall it's well worth a visit, full of history, It has been used as film location several times including for - Mansfield Park - Moll Flanders - Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and an episode of Dr Who

Polperro, Cornwall. One of the best dinners at 'The Kitchen' on a horrid, stormy evening but the fabulous sea food & my hand made Martini made up for it!

Pirate's Cove, Polperro, Cornwall. Smuggling prospered in Polperro when it was developed as a port in the 12th c. & reached it's zenith in the late 18th c. when Britain's wars w/ America & France hastened high taxation of imported goods. Local fisherman boosted their income by smuggling spirits, tobacco & other goods from Guernsey. A more organized Coast Guard service was introduced in the 19th c. along w/ stiff penalties, & led to much less smuggling.

Cornwall is a magical place full of beauty and mythical legend. I have visited many times and will do so as often as I can, the people are friendly and the views stunning.
