The starting point of Mullayanagiri trek is called Sarpadhari although there is a concrete road that goes till Mullayanagiri peak via Sitalayanagiri temple but there was no public transport on this route. Unlike Belur and Halebidu, Somnathpur was not severely damaged by invaders hence the fine tuned and detailed stone craftsmanship still seems immaculate.

Temple is known as Honnammadevi temple which is just aside to the waterfall. It’s easily noticeable. Manikyadhara Falls are another popular attraction at around 10 km from Attigundi village enroute to Baba Budan Giri peak.
