4x4 prints from PostalPix app. Wood 1/4 thick cut in 4x4 squares. Sand to make smooth. Paint wood and let dry. Mod pudge wood, place picture on top. Mod podge over picture. Set overnight (or a few hours). Use fine sand paper to sand and make smooth (don't worry, you won't hurt the picture). Eye hooks screwed in on top and run string or ribbons through to hang. The entire process takes a few hours but I absolutely love these homemade treasures. @Tomie Thaller Jane
The pinner says it best. "Homemade Treasure Troll Pregnant Costume: Since I am 8 and a half months pregnant, I wanted a costume that would highlight my belly. I suddenly remembered the cute little big-bellied dolls I had".
DIY: beautiful shabby fabric pumpkins to make for Autumn/Fall.
All our Christmas decorations are going up today hooray and I’ve just bought down the bag of homemade treasures. So lovely to unpack them all.... my poor pixies legs are a bit bent and in need of a little attention... whoops.... however this festive embroidery is still pristine....I designed it a few years back and if you would like to make one it’s available as a free download on my blog! . . #prettyfabricsandtrims #embroidery #letitsnow
