British Robins ... can't beat them! Wherever I've lived there has always been a robin who has totally befriended me - and I've always named them "Tim" in honour of one of my fave authors Derek Tangye, who wrote about one in his books ♥ It's unusual to see two sitting together like this; despite their endearing image they are very aggressive little birds, and will fight to the death over their territory.

Wild flowers and grass in summer garden.......wish I was running in the sunshine here......

Blue tit this bird can look good in slotting technique so I think that I will use it.

I like the shape of this butterfly, this will help my final piece by creating insects that are a part of nature.

Great spotted woodpecker. About blackbird-sized and striking black-and-white. It has a very distinctive bouncing flight and spends most of its time clinging to tree trunks and branches, often trying to hide on the side away from the observer. Its presence is often announced by its loud call or by its distinctive spring 'drumming' display. The male has a distinctive red patch on the back of the head and young birds have a red crown.

I like the origami birds - mixing birds and a geometric design. I can't actually find bunting like this to buy which is a shame. This would look awesome hanging in the venue

GOLDCREST -The Goldcrest is smaller than the Wren and is Europe's smallest bird.
