Julia Fiona Roberts (10/28/1967) was born in Smyrna, Georgia, to Betty Lou (née Bredemus) (b. 1934) & Walter Grady Roberts (1933-1977). She attended Fitzhugh Lee Elementary School, Griffin Middle School, & Campbell High School in Smyrna. Roberts wanted to be a veterinarian as a child. She also played clarinet in her school band. After graduating from Campbell High, she headed to New York to pursue a career in acting.
