C.Pase: "The Vault" is a sans serif typeface. While the font is appealing, I chose this particular sign because the kerning is messed up between the "V" and "A." The other signs around the building are kerned perfectly except for this rendition. I think the font gives off a sort of secretive vibe and/or mystery. This naturally works to draw people into the bar because people are naturally curious. This type choice will influence my work since I usually gravitate towards sans-serif typefaces.
