Kennedy needs this, sooo many books! Good idea for kids book storage. An old dresser drawer with legs on it (or something similar) and then store forward facing books in rows.

I really like this idea for hanging Char's stuff and getting it off the table. Maybe put art a little higher and add shelving or magnetic storage

Before & After: Guest Room Turned Big Boy Room

Art area in the corner of a play room! These hanging bins are perfect for storing art supplies and the mini clothesline great for hanging art! A great way to organize art and art supplies!

A dormer on the south side of the house contains two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms features a reading loft carved out of the attic space above the dining room. The intersection of the gabled roof and the shed dormers allowed us to wrap large windows around each corner, taking advantage of the “borrowed landscape”—treetop views that root the house to its site. Reading niche by Merzbau Design Collective. Great idea for a contemporary kid room. The reading nook is placed inside a recessed attic space, and sized to fit a twin mattress.

grey furniture by baby space interiors, via Flickr great use of variety of frames

Finally, a small nursery idea. I like the vertical position of the change pad (makes more sense, unless baby is really long).

Storage between and at ends of beds.

trash cans, painted, as laundry baskets!and i love all these rooms i'm seeing with multiple beds.makes me feel not so bad that my kids all have to share!

Boys room, blue and yellow features

Love the blue and yellow colors in this room, plus the mini bunk bed is adorable: a great use of space and I don't have to worry about a kid dying from brain trauma.
