I love doing learning maps with my preschoolers during our inquiry discussions. it keeps their interest and they revisit the map often after it is posted in our science centre. We often add to the maps as our learning process over time.....Tdeb:)

EYFS DINOSAUR TOPIC: Children can help to "hatch open" the dinosaur egg using salt and tools, revealing small dino toys. Made by simply putting toy inside balloon, fill with water, freeze overnight then cut balloon away.
