The Children’s Museum is a beloved space of many patrons of The Grace Museum. Although used mostly as a learning and discovery space, the Children’s Museum plans to be a space for education. In the beginning of 2013, readings were held for families on the famous mini-Paramount stage. The museum’s Special Programs Manager reads a book called “What’s in the Dark” to a group of children at an event aimed to celebrate the recent unveiling of a museum library.
We opened our doors to our area students and their families for the opening reception of Youth Art Month - a celebration of more than 800 student artworks from Abilene ISD, Wylie Independent School District, Big Country Home Educators, and others.
