Over the last month #CARE has been reaching some of the worst affected and most remote villages in #Nepal to deliver life-saving aid. Logistics and access still remain a major challenge with staff using 4x4 trucks, helicopters and trekking up on foot to cut off villages.
Before monsoons begins each year, the village of Balgoan in Nepal stockpile #food for about two months because landslides make passage to and from the village impossible. When the earthquake hit, the people there lost much of their food stocks. #CARE is providing them with much needed rice and lentils. Photo - Lucy Beck/CARE
