#Nepal and north India needs help in the wake of the recent earthquake and aftershocks. With over 6,000 fatalities in Nepal and more than 60 in India, there is an immediate need for clean water, food, medication and shelter. Help reach those in need. Donate here:

Over the last month #CARE has been reaching some of the worst affected and most remote villages in #Nepal to deliver life-saving aid. Logistics and access still remain a major challenge with staff using 4x4 trucks, helicopters and trekking up on foot to cut off villages.

Before monsoons begins each year, the village of Balgoan in Nepal stockpile #food for about two months because landslides make passage to and from the village impossible.
