Mexican Formula 1 star Pedro Rodríguez (pictured) had a banner year in 1963, beginning with his victory driving the North American Racing Team Ferrari 250 GTO at the Daytona Continental race on 17 February'63. Rodriguez went on to take part in his first Grands Prix for Lotus at Watkins Glen and Magdalena Mixhuca, and competed in Formula One with Ferrari and Lotus through 1966.
