egg carton flowers. Cut out individual egg sections and cut into the edges making the petal. Paint using tempera. Some children can use smaller sections to add to the middle. Spread them apart to create bigger flowers. Glue in the centres. This can be done by the whole class at once. These would look great arranged on a painted canvas in a sort of trailing effect. Three dimensional art project.
FREE Craft Idea~ Recycled Magazine Flowers use magazines from every season and for every occasion. Students cut out colorful squares from magazine pages, fold them three times to get a small triangle, and then cut a petal shape out of the top of the triangle. Magazine pages with contrasting colors make the layers really "pop." Next, roll a whole page that's been glued closed to use as a stem. Create some "grass" and display bouquets in old jars.
