Creeping Thyme (Thymus Serpyllum 'Magic Carpet') hardy drought tolerant perennial, pink lemon-scented blooms all summer, 2-4 inches tall.

Perennial sweet pea - I have in the back - need to keep on top of it and make it climb the trellis so it doesn't take over again!

Late summer Minnesota garden...the basic plants look amazing here, coneflower, liatris, Autum Joy sedum, bergenia, salvia with Russian Sage, Goldsturm Rudbeckia and Karl Forerster grass in the back.

Joe-Pye Weed (Eupatorium) 4-6 ft., Full Sun. Likes very moist soil, but tolerant. Attracts butterflies.
