Southern terms of endearment.. The fact that "ma'am" is listed on this makes me smile. I told Chris I'm gonna have to get used to him calling me ma'am. I think of old lady's and he says its a term of respect. He was brought up to call women "ma'am" and men "sir". Guess that's part of being a military baby and growing up in the south. =)

Southern Terms of Endearment. I call my daughter baby cakes and my husband calls her sweet pea :-)

Especially in May, June, July, August, September and some of October, depending on which Southern state you may live in.

And Sundays and holidays when the oven is on most of the day cooking big southern meals ❤️

save the sewing scissors for sewing. The hair-cutting scissors for hair. But do have some good, sturdy kitchen shears. Took me years to figure out how handy scissors are in the kitchen.

I may have used one or two of these words... a day.

Proper Southern English - too true & too funny. it's only missing: "might could, Mash the button, & darlin" If you know what these mean you're probably from the South or know someone who is!
