Built-in bunk beds is a great idea to preserve space. The built-in book shelves also help to create more storage for toys, books and etc. The first step of the ladder has been eliminated in order to add under bed storage/trundle.
I love the idea of building the bed into the structure of the room for children's rooms. Beds are large pieces of furniture and take up space. This allows for more floor space. I would make the bed into a bunk bed for both Laura and Hannah!
I like the idea of a light in each bed. I also saw some bookshelves countersunk into the wall for each bed that was pretty neat. I like the built ins and also the idea of a bookcase at the foot of the bunk bed.
two twin beds. A curtain hung from that cute heading would disguise your "bedroom" if you chose. A curtain would work above as well for either a bed or built in shelves and hanging space for your clothing; I really love the idea of deep, built-in beds
