Explore Sides North, Three Sides and more!

On three sides; north, west and south.

Adding a porch/portico is an opportunity to add interest to your home as well as to gain protection from the weather when entering or exiting your front door.

To warm up a cold north-facing room use those colours on the warm side of the colour wheel. Use orange in its paler values such as peach or apricot. Use pale reds or pale yellows.

Formal front garden - Victorian, but grass surrounded by white pebble (how do you clean)

On the raised north western part of the site, create a #Provence garden. More gentle and less structured than the courtyard garden and overlooking the large oak.

Finally! Already have my snow-in-summer and lamb's ear mounds. Just need some boxwood and rosemary to alternate with to give it a little more color variation.

I like the open joist area. Mine is rocked (for attic) but i don't need the attic.

Wondering.....can you make a hypertufa ball than add moss to create these neat spheres?
