This series follows the lives of 14 British children since 1964, when they were seven years old. They come from a range of socio-economic backgrounds. The children (now adults, of course) have been filmed every 7 years, with the next installment "56 Up" expected to come out within the next couple of years. The question: How strongly does class structure determine a child's path for life? Quoted throughout the film: "Give me a child until he is 7, and I will give you the man."

The Up Series (Seven Up / 7 Plus Seven / 21 Up / 28 Up / 35 Up / 42 Up) Really want to see this - documents the lives of folks from different socio-economic backgrounds every 7 years
