The Hoste Arms, Burnham Market, Norfolk - A great restaurant in North Norfolk

The Hoste Arms, Burnham Market, Norfolk - used to be one of our favourites before it changed ownership

The best English villages-Burnham Market, Norfolk Burnham Market (burnhammarket.co.uk) is one of Norfolk’s classic brick-and-flint villages, with Georgian houses clustered around a broad, central green. It has a good selection of clothing and crafts shops. Best for food is Humble Pie (humble-pie.com) and, for fresh local fish, go to Gurneys (gurneysfishshop.co.uk).

Beautiful Burnham Market in North Norfolk. Great for a spot of recreational shopping.

Humble Pie has been located in the fashionable Burnham Market, North Norfolk since 1980. Along with Norfolk-sourced cheeses, such as Binham Blue, Smoked Norfolk Dapple & Norfolk White Lady, they fill pies with free range Blythborough pork in the summer & venison & sloe gin in the winter. There are also mouth-watering, homemade chutneys, a signature Victoria sponge, divine pear & chocolate jam & in autumn, quince & crab-apple jellies, made from fruit hand-picked from nearby hedgerows.
