Bellevue House is located in Amherstburg Ontario, Canada. It was marked a National Historic site in 1959 was designated under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1982. Unfortunately. the current owners cannot, or do not want, to restore it to it's former glory so it sits year after year abandoned in a state of disrepair. In 2009 it was named one of the country’s top 10 endangered places by the Heritage Canada Foundation. It's current state has been referred to as "Demolition by Neglect."
